About Us

The Eastern Suburbs Dragon Boating Club (also known as Easts) is the only dragon boat club in the Eastern Suburbs. With the majority of clubs based in Pyrmont or Glebe, there were no options for residents living in the Eastern Suburbs. So in 2002 three highly experienced dragon boaters took on the challenge of setting up a dragon boat club in the Eastern Suburbs for the very first time.

Today Easts is a vibrant and enthusiastic club, with teams competing in the Male, Female and Mixed categories, and are always on the look out for new members from the local area. Easts is fortunate to be training in the heart of Rose Bay, which is home to some of the most scenic and breathtaking views on Sydney Harbour. So come down and give it a go! You couldn’t be in better hands with our Head Coach Pam Sheppard, who along with another club member, Steven Davidson, are coaches to the New South Wales Masters & Grand Dragons teams.

It’s a great way to have fun, improve your fitness and make great friends.
